It’s not that confusing, folks. Everyone in California must wear a face mask in all public places, indoors and — if near other people — outside. That includes while waiting in line outside, to get inside.
The City of Sonoma has launched a sign campaign to remind shoppers and visitors of the rule.
The advisory was changed to a hard requirement last week by The California Department of Public Health. “Simply put,” said Governor Gavin Newsom, “we are seeing too many people with faces uncovered – putting at risk the real progress we have made in fighting the disease.”
As always, and like the ‘No Shoes, No Service’ rule, the manager of a private business retains the right to refuse service to any customer, in this case, the unmasked.
