The City of Sonoma is excited to be partnering with Operation Bicycle again this year in offering the FREE bike valet program. Community members are encouraged to ride their bikes to the event, and valet park their bikes knowing that they are secured.
All bikes will need to be retrieved from the bike corral located at the South entrance to the horseshoe before 10 pm. The bike valet will be in the front of the City Hall (east entrance to the horseshoe), with the best access point from Napa Street.
HELP MAKE THE PARTY SUSTAINABLE
The City of Sonoma’s goal is environmentally friendly events. This year’s event encourages attendees to bring reusable cups to the event to drink out of, ride their bikes to the event and utilize the FREE bike valet, and dispose of their belongings in a responsible manner by placing items in the correct waste receptacles onsite.
All vendors adhere to the ban on single-use plastics, and all food items ordered onsite will be served in/on compostable products. If you purchase food items at the event rest assured that items can be deposited in the composting containers. This year the city is working with Green Mary who is responsible for ensuring that all of the event’s waste is sorted in a manner compliant with SB1383.
