Sorry Plaza, Love Georgie

Editor: I want to apologize to the Sonoma Plaza for an incident that happened a few nights ago. My neighbor, who thinks I’m a tad overweight, has signed us both up for Shape Up Sonoma. Now, she takes me for a walk a couple nights each week after dinner. Good for her, good for me but, it turns out, bad for the Plaza.

Let me explain. Earlier this week we took our customary walk up Broadway and around the Square. Since there wasn’t anyone around, my neighbor took a short cut through the Plaza because I like to look at the ducks. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had a bit of an upset tummy and, even though I had done my business earlier in the yard, I found that I had to go again. And I did, right on the sidewalk.

If that wasn’t embarrassing enough, it turned out that my neighbor didn’t even have a baggie with which to clean up. She was forced to leave my droppings behind. Needless to say, we were both mortified.

Now I know that my kind aren’t permitted in the Plaza and of course I know why. But for me, this was a rare excursion and an isolated incident for which I am profoundly sorry.
My neighbor did return the next morning to clean up after me only to discover that someone else already had. For this, we are grateful.

So, Sonoma Plaza I’m sorry that I fouled your beauty. Next time we will both be more careful.

Sincerely, Georgie

      Thank you Georgie,
So many time I get up in the Morning and find that my neighbors too, have allowed their companions to do their dirty work in the front of my home and even most recently on my Lawn.
Fortunately this morning, as I was leaving for work, I found that a woman who actually lives two blocks East of me was allowing her faithful companions (3) to do their free will along the gravel that lines my driveway.
When approached about it, she said it wasn’t her problem. I asked her 3 times to pick it up, thus receiving a Middle Finger as a Reply, I simply picked it up with my Gloved hand and slung it right at her in hopes that she understood the meaning of “whether to accept her offer or sling it right back at her”. Rather upset, she announced that she was going to call the local law enforcement, I’m hoping to receive a call from the local law enforcement agency, since I have called them several times concerning these gifts which my neighbors so happily leave on my property.
As the woman left in a bit of a hurry I noticed my other neighbor across our street applauding me and giving me the Thumbs Up.
Georgie, Thank you for your honesty ad I am sure many fellow Sonoma Residents are also tired of having to clean up their neighbors messes.
