Over the Christmas holidays, many in Sonoma submitted suggestions for naming the young female camel who lives at Vintage Kennel Club on Bonness Road (and appeared at the Christmas eve services at St. Andrew Church). Six people submitted the name “Sahara” for the camel.
The name was chosen by owners Brian Ness and Michael Weiss from among the hundreds submitted.
