Brian Grant joins Exchange Bank
Brian Grant has been named Customer Service Manager at the newly remodeled Sonoma Branch of Exchange Bank. He brings five years of banking experience to Sonoma, starting as a customer service representative, and working as a real estate loan agent and customer service supervisor before being promoted to customer service manager. Grant, a Sonoma County native, attended Cardinal Newman High School and graduated from Sonoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
Sonoma Valley Bancorp declares cash dividend
Sonoma Valley Bancorp board chairman Bob Nicholas announced that the company has declared a 30-cent ($0.30) cash dividend per share. The cash dividend is payable to shareholders of record March 14 and will be paid on March 28.
Chairman Nicholas said the company’s growth and earnings record made the declaration possible. Sonoma Valley Bancorp, with $299 million in assets, is headquartered in Sonoma with a branch office in Glen Ellen and the Banco de Sonoma branch in Boyes Hot Springs. Shares in the company are traded on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB) and the stock symbol is SBNK.
