Editor: Obama’s presidential executive order, I. E. Dream Act, provides undocumented youths with a path to citizenship, letting them earn permanent legal status through education or military service.
They must have been brought here younger than 16, but must not be over the age of 30. They must have no criminal record, and pose no threat to national security or public safety. They also must have resided in the U.S. continuously for five years prior to June 15, 2012, and be a student, high school graduate or an honorably discharged veteran.
One of the many problems with this executive order is that there is no legal or lawful way to prove that these criteria are fulfilled. ICE agents have been told to take the undocumented youths word for it.
The U. S. Senate and House of Representatives must pass laws to insure that those who take part in this amnesty are qualified under Obama’s presidential executive order.
If not we will again be flooded with illegal aliens. And they will be coming here from all over the world!
In the ultimate analysis, only Congress, acting under its legislative authority conferred by the United States Constitution, can confer the right to permanent lawful status to undocumented aliens, not the President.
Pander on with OUR money Obama!!! The Panderer in chief must go in November!!!
