Editor: In 1954 Friedel Kleussmann seemed silly for her efforts to preserve the San Francisco Cable Cars. After all, San Francisco was a sophisticated town. Again in 1971, Mrs. Kleussmann fought to preserve the cable car schedules and routes. She was called a variety of names but she and her committee persevered. She didn’t give up. Those of us who love this town can’t give up either. We need to preserve our historic nature, tin building and all. Vote YES on Measure B.
