Petroni Vineyards will celebrate the harvest with their annual harvest party on Sunday, October 2.
As of last week, the winery reported on Facebook that their winemaker, Martin MacKenzie, was “very happy” with the harvest thus far and that it will be a “stellar year.”
The beautiful mountain top winery transports guests to Tuscany with views that are hard to find elsewhere.
Single varietal designate wines will be available to taste and purchase and the event often includes barrel tastings.
Petroni is know for producing Italian designates such as Sangiovese, along with Pinot Noir, Syrah, Cab, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
Fiddlin’ Pete will provide live music and Cochon Volant BBQ Smoke House will serve ribs, brisket, and chicken BBQ.
Tickets required. RSVP by September 16. $55 for wine club members and $65 for non-wine club guests. info@petronivineyards.com, 935-8311. petronivineyards.com
