Leslie Vaughn and Janie Soto, board members of the Glen Ellen Fair Association, show off the featured prize for the Glen Ellen Village Fair raffle, a hand-made quilt. A tradition within a tradition, the annual quilt – designed and stitched by volunteers with the theme “A Sense of Community” – will be one of many prizes awarded during the 27th annual Fair, on Sunday, October 8.
Meanwhile, organizers are busy selling raffle tickets to held fund the festivities. Look for their booth in front of the Glen Ellen Market on these Saturdays: August 5, August 12, September 16 and September 23.
