The Thunder is this year’s champion of the Boys & Girls Club’s 6th-8th Grade Volleyball League. The Thunder, sponsored by Imperial Servies, entered the tournament as the number two seed. In the finals against the previously unbeaten Crush, the Thunder dropped the first game before reeling off three games to take the title.

Wining the 3rd-5th Grade championship was Sideout, sponsored by Synergy Dental Group.

Next up at BGC is Jr. Co-Ed Basketball for boys and girls entering Kindergarten, First, or Second grade in August 2013. Sign-ups are Aug. 6-8, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the office at Maxwell Park. The season runs from August through October. Find out more at BGCsonoma.org.
