Rotary Club supports 'Broadway' series

The Rotary Club of Sonoma Valley presents a check for $15,000 to founding members of the Transcendence Theatre Company, from left, Brad Surosky, Amy Miller and Stephan Stubbins.

The company produces the “Broadway Under the Stars in Jack London State Park” concert series in the majestic open-air ruins of a historic winery in Jack London State Historic Park. The 2014 summer season begins June 27.

The series will include four separate themed concerts totaling 16 nights of performances, wine tasting, and pre-event picnics in the park. All events begin with the picnic at 5 p.m., with food and wine for sale from various vendors on site, with a 7:30 p.m. curtain.

One Singular Sensation — June 27, 28, 29, July 2, 3, 5. 
A night of irresistible Broadway production numbers, show-stopping routines and much more.

Fantastical Family Night — July 25, 26. 
Musical magic exploring Broadway, Disney and other lovable songs in a family-friendly night of entertainment.

The Music of the Night — August 14, 15, 16, 22, 23, 24. Singing, music and harmonies from contemporary and classical Broadway songs to popular music and beyond.

Gala Celebration Concert — September 5, 6. A little bit of the best from the summer season and some new sure-to-be classics rolled into one special evening.

‘Early Bird’ tickets are on sale now at 877.424.1414 and Ttsonoma.org. A portion of every ticket sold will benefit Jack London State Park.
