Restaurant Week benefits Boys & Girls Clubs

Posted on March 7, 2014 by Sonoma Valley Sun

Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley is partnering with local restaurants in Sonoma, Glen Ellen, and Kenwood for Restaurant Week, March 10-16.

The fifth annual week is a celebration of Sonoma County’s finest food, with great discounts along the way – and it supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley.

Participating restaurants in Sonoma, Glen Ellen, and Kenwood will offer a two-course prix-fixe lunch option priced at $10, $15 or $20. A three-course prix-fixe dinner menu will be offered for $19, $29 or $39.

A portion of proceeds from Restaurant Week dining will benefit BGCSV at these restaurants: Café Citti; Carneros Bistro; Olive and Vine; Plaza Bistro; Red Grape; Rancho Viejo; Saddles Steakhouse; and The Palms Grill.

“Every meal purchased at these participating restaurants will help to improve the quality of life for children and teens in Sonoma Valley,” said the Clubs’ Rachel Cusick.

There are no tickets or passes required. Diners can enjoy as many participating restaurants as they would like during the week, “all while supporting health and wellness for Sonoma Valley kids.”

BGCSV, which serves more than 2,000 kids at five Valley locations, is an independent nonprofit organization funded solely by individuals, local businesses, and grants.
