Nelson Staffing Opens Modesto Branch
The Nelson Family of Companies has opened a new staffing office in Modesto, Calif., its 15th location in Northern California. “It is an exciting time for Modesto,“ said Gary Nelson, Chairman and CEO of Nelson Family of Companies and a native of Modesto. “With all the growth in the area, we are seeing a high demand for temporary workers and feel it is the right time to enter the market.”
Jacqueline Russell, a staffing industry veteran with more than seven years’ experience, will manage the Modesto office. The Nelson Family of Companies is the largest independent human capital solutions company in Northern California with revenues of $377 million. The staffing service provides placement for positions from administrative to executive levels and in industries ranging from wine to games software to healthcare. The company was founded in 1970 and is headquartered in Sonoma.
Cogito Creative Marks First Year With Second Location
Cogito Creative Works, a Sonoma Valley based marketing, advertising and design agency, is celebrating its one-year anniversary. Founded by Skye Hallberg and Ron Woloshun, the company’s clients include several locally based businesses: PNI Sensor Corporation, Benziger Family Winery, Dowling Magnets and Scherrer Winery.
Cogito Creative recently expanded its operations, opening a new office in Petaluma.
