Thousands of Sonomans and out-of-towners converged on the plaza during last weekend’s Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival, the 110th edition of the “granddaddy” of all Sonoma celebrations. Music, wine, art, food and camaraderie characterized the event, which ran from Friday night’s Patrons Dinner through Sunday.
“It was a great weekend, a great festival,” said Bob Sevilla, president of the board of directors of the festival. “By all accounts, attendance was higher Saturday and Sunday than it was last year.”
The board of directors is an all-volunteer board, said Sevilla. “They all work all year long to make this happen. It was gratifying to see all of Sonoma show up for this truly home-grown festival.”
