The concert will be at 3 p.m., Nov. 4, in Burlingame Hall at First Congregational Church, 252 West Spain St.

The Sonoma Classical Music Society will present the Bay Area’s own Tilden Trio on Sunday, Nov. 4 in Burlingame Hall at First Congregational Church.
The trio will perform Beethoven’s “Trio in B-Flat Major (Allegretto),” Sarn Oliver’s “Piano Trio – Tilden Park (2005),” Maurice Ravel’s “Piano Trio in A minor (1914),” and Anton Arensky’s “Trio in D Minor for Violin, Cello, and Piano, op. 32.” The Tilden Trio has become a sought-after ensemble since forming in 2004 by Julliard classmates Sarn Oliver (violin), Peter Wyrick (cello) and June Choi Oh (piano).
The Trio has appeared in the San Francisco Symphony Chamber Music Series at Davies Symphony Hall, the Chancellor’s Series at UC-San Francisco, the Chamber Music Sundaes in Berkeley and the Guest Concert Series at Dominican University in San Rafael, among others. Sarn Oliver, a first violinist with the San Francisco Symphony since 1993, has performed as a soloist with the Dallas and Shreveport Symphonies among others. An active composer, his “Trio One for 2 violins and viola” was premiered at the Chamber Music Series and Davies Symphony Hall in 2005. Peter Wyrick is Associate Principal Cellist of the San Francisco Symphony and has performed as a soloist with the San Francisco Symphony, the Aspen Chamber Symphony and the Kozponti Sinonicus in Budapest, Hungary. June Choi Oh is a current faculty member of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Dominican and a former faculty member of the Manhattan School of Music. She has performed as a soloist with the New Haven Symphony, Aspen Concert Orchestra, Palo Alto Philharmonic and the Filarmonica Del Jalisco in Mexico.
The concert will be at 3 p.m. on Nov. 4 in Burlingame Hall at First Congregational Church, 252 West Spain St. Tickets for the concert are $25 for adults, $10 for students and $20 for members of the Sonoma Classical Music Society. The next concert in the Sonoma Classical Music Society’s 2007 series will be Sunday, Dec. 2, when the Sonoma State University Chamber Singers will play music of the Italian Renaissance, including Christmas music, at Andrews Hall, Sonoma Community Center, at 2 p.m.
