Jeff Bundschu, president and sixth-generation vintner at California’s oldest family-owned winery, addressed a crowd of well-wishers at a luncheon on March 12. Scheduled exactly 150 years after the original deed was signed in 1858, the ceremony also featured dignitaries – including Sonoma Mayor Joanne Sanders and Sonoma County Supervisor Valerie Brown – as well as special tours and tastings. Bundschu also announced the creation of a one-man show, “Towle’s Hill,” which will make a limited national tour, culminating in performances in Sonoma later this year.
