Ledson wins top honors at Orange County Fair

Ledson Winery has been racking up the victories for its fantastic wine varieties, especially its zinfandels. They recently took top honors at the 2008 Orange County Fair, one of the most critically acclaimed judgers of wine in the United States.
It won “Best of Show – Red Varietals” for its 2005 Zinfandel Russian River Valley “Clapton Vineyard” and also received a gold medal for its 2005 Zinfandel Russian River Valley “Old Vine” Bacigalupi Vineyard variety as well.
Ledson is no stranger to winning awards at county fairs, having won the Sweepstake award at the Sonoma County Fair given to the top wine of the competition, which was a 2005 Sauvignon Blanc.
