They’re back…

If you’ve been disappointed to find the Creekside Café on Boyes Boulevard closed in recent days, don’t worry – it’s only temporary. Owner Mike Monahan has been on vacation and will re-open the popular lunch spot, as usual, on Friday, Aug. 8. The café is at 239 Boyes Blvd. in Boyes Hot Springs, 707.996.8062.

Sip and sample local flavors

Cornerstone is offering  “Taste Sonoma” on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout the month of August, featuring live music by local performers, free samples of regional artisan food items and barrel tasting at both Roshambo and Grange Sonoma. Cornerstone is at 23570 Arnold Dr. 707.933.3010

Landmark to offer harvest lunches

Landmark Vineyards will partner with Hands On Gourmet to offer the Harvest Lunch Experience. Participants will taste freshly harvested wine grapes, walk the Esprit du Rhone vineyard and prepare a three-course harvest lunch with the help of professional chefs from Hands On Gourmet. Landmark wines will be paired with the meal. The menu changes weekly, and each guest will take home an apron and menu from the lunch.
Landmark’s Harvest Lunch Experience will be offered daily during the month of September from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $135 per person. Reservations are required; contact Michael Baughman of Landmark Vineyards at 707.833.0228.
