Relay for Life

Last weekend’s Relay for Life was a big success, raising $235,000 and still counting. The 24-hour event is held annually at the Sonoma Valley High School track to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Barn party at Green String Farms
Green String Farms, on Old Adobe Road in Petaluma, hosted a farm tour and barn party on Saturday, Aug. 2. Sonomans Bob Cannard and Fred Cline, co-founders of Green String Farms, use sustainable and organic farming techniques to grow a wide variety of vegetables and fruits.
