Last week marked one of the most spirited weeks of the school year at Sonoma Valley High School – the celebration of homecoming season.
On Thursday, Oct. 2, students unveiled their creations at Float Fest, where each class competed for the prize of best float based on this year’s theme of “classic video games.” The senior class took home first place with their Mario Brothers float and the night came to a close with the annual school bonfire.
The celebration continued on Friday, Oct. 3, with the homecoming parade and the rally leading up to the Dragons’ winning football game against Windsor. Homecoming week came to a close on Saturday night, with Jenni Marioni and Ethan Cohen being crowned Queen and King at the homecoming dance at Jacuzzi Winery.
