Congregation Shir Shalom hosted the first ever Sonoma Jewish Music & Art Festival on Sunday, Oct. 19, in the outdoor area of the Congregation, receiving a highly enthusiastic and celebratory crowd. A klezmer band, the Red Hot Chachkas, performed during the day, as well as magician Tobias, as guests mingled, ate and celebrated Jewish culture. An evening concert featuring Rabbi Jack Gabriel & Friends, the Stephanie Ozer Ensemble and Vocolot brought the well-attended festival to a close.

Julie Atwood hosted a fashion show of Julie Schindler’s holiday premier line on Saturday, Oct. 18 at The Atwood Ranch. The event featured a champagne and wine reception and a catered lunch, as
guests took in some of the latest local autumn and winter fashions. “It was a fun, intimate gathering … complete with chandeliers and an espresso bar, as models wandered from table to table,” commented attendee Leslie Blankenship. All proceeds from the show benefited the Valley of the Moon Boys & Girls Club.

Three House MultiMedia hosts ‘Chamber After Hours’

On Thursday, Oct. 16, Three House MultiMedia, Inc. was the site for the monthly Chamber of Commerce mixer. More than 60 Chamber members socialized and networked, while Three House provided tours of the KSVY radio station and SVTV 27 studio. James and the Three House Band performed live music as guests sipped custom-made “Fourth House” cocktails, beer and wine and dined on local Mexican food from taco trucks on-site.
