Veteran’s Day at the Masonic Center

Veterans groups of Sonoma Valley hosted the 49th annual Veterans Day Observance at the Sonoma Masonic Center on Tuesday, Nov. 11. A special focus was on the command of General Henry H. Arnold, whose family donated a handmade wooden flagpole that was dedicated to mark the beginning of the observance. Later, Bryan Aubin, Commander of VFW Post 1943, and Gary Magnani, Commander of American Legion Post 489, raised two of General Arnold’s five-star flags on the pole to commemorate Sonoma’s veterans.
