The Sonoma Creek Inn has long been an affordable and stylish alternative to pricey wine country accommodations. From Nov. 16 through March 12, 2009, visitors to the region have yet another reason for choosing this one-of-a-kind gem: the inn’s Carpe Diem package. It includes one night in a queen guest room, a complimentary bottle of wine, two complimentary wine tasting passes, at a price of only $75 per room (for two people). Guests who prefer a two-night stay pay only $145 per room ($72.50 per night, also for two people).
Regular rates for the same period range from $89 to $109. Guests who book the Carpe Diem special receive the best available room, so they are likely to nab a $109 room for $75, a 31 percent savings off the regular rate
plus, they receive the wine and tasting passes.
Sonoma Creek Inn’s Carpe Diem offer is valid Sunday through Thursday nights. The package excludes holiday and special event periods and is based upon availability.
Located on Boyes Boulevard down the road from the Sonoma Mission Inn, the 16-room inn features individually controlled heat and air-conditioning, complimentary wireless Internet access, telephones with data ports, in-room refrigerators, hairdryers, ceiling fans and cable TV. Many rooms have private outdoor patios or porches – just the thing for relaxation after a busy day exploring the wine country. All are decorated with original artwork, handcrafted accessories, and art tiles and painted in warm, inviting colors.
