Bryant Park West fashion show

Jacuzzi Winery was host to “Bryant Park West” on Saturday, Nov. 22. The elegant fashion show featured pieces by Rami Kashou, star of “Project Runway,” who was also in attendance at the winery, and styles from the fashion-forward San Francisco-based Maneater Threads.
All proceeds from the show went to the local organization “Operation Youth,” which runs teen programs including The Shop, The No Name Café and Teen Safe Ride.
Sonoma Jazz+ Party

Darius Anderson, incoming chairman of the board of the Sonoma Jazz + Festival, and his wife, Sarah, hosted a party at their Kenwood home on Thursday, Nov. 20. The event, which featured a light dinner catered by Olive & Vine, heralded the passing of the chairmanship from Stephanie Pugash to Anderson. It also served as a pep rally for the 2009 festival, coming up at the end of May. Guests included Jim Horowitz of Jazz +, who flew in from Aspen for the occasion, as well as Steve Page, Suzanne Brangham, Steve Ledson, Sonoma County Supervisor Valerie Brown and Sonoma Mayor Pro Tem Ken Brown.
