Breakfast with Santa

The Moose Lodge hosted its annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 13. Children of all ages had the chance not only to enjoy a free pancake breakfast, but to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus as well. After the mornings festivities, the Moose Lodge, with Santa’s help, sent their young visitors’ home with surprises and goodie bags.


‘A Magical Sleigh Ride’

Sonoma continued to get in the holiday spirit on Saturday, Dec. 13 at the Sebastiani Theatre with the Sonoma Hometown Band’s performance of classic Christmas tunes and selections from “The Sound of Music.”


‘Holiday Extravaganza’

On Dec. 13-14, the Sebastiani Theatre presented the fourth annual “Holiday Season Extravaganza.” Entertainers in the family-friendly event included Roger Rhoten, The Magic Man; The Mystic Man Tobias; The Sonoma ballet Conservatory Dancers; The Witchie Poo Players and more. Special performances by the Vox Populi (Voice of the People) Choir and local professional belly dancer Nathalie Tedrick topped off the event, along with a visit from Santa, as the Sebastiani Theatre was transformed into a magical winter wonderland.


‘A Magnificent Christmas’

The Sonoma Valley Chorale presented “A Magnificent Christmas,” a concert event featuring the Chorale, soloists and orchestra performing of Giovanni Pergolesi’s “Magnificat” on Saturday evening, Dec. 13. The concert was held in the Veteran’s Memorial Building and also featured pieces by Rachmaninoff, Britten, Vaughan Williams, Cesar Cul, Gene Autry, Paul McCartney and Mel Torme. Special guests, The Festival Bells, from St. Andrew Church also performed.
