Local filmmakers Mike Abela and Patrick Sean Gibson hosted the small but impressive film festival, “Bookshelf,” at the Sebastiani Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 10. The festival was sponsored by the Sonoma International Film Festival and Sonoma Old School Skate & Surf, and it featured films by Abela and Gibson, both Sonoma Valley High School alumni, and other local filmmakers, independents and experimentalists from around the Bay Area and as far away as Japan. A raffle and live music added to the fun.
