On Saturday, July 11, the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art came alive as a swank downtown hotspot for “MIX,” the Museum’s ever-successful evening of art, music, cocktails and live entertainment.
Designed with a cutting-edge feel for the young and the hip – regardless of natural age, “MIX” featured the current art exhibitions “Intersections: Puzzles as Art” and “Metamorfaces: The Curious Work of Warner Jepson,” as well as a special performance of Kathak, a classic dance of North India, by Dmitra Smith, a member of the of the Chitresh Das Dance Company.
DJ Michel Saga worked the music and got the audience dancing, while Lotus Vodka, Sebastiani & Sons and Emmy’s Spaghetti Shack kept the drinks and noshes coming into the wee hours of the night.
