Sonoma Scene: Say “fore” for charity

The Sonoma Valley Chapter of Realtors joined together with the Sonoma Plaza Kiwanis to create the Kiwanis Realtors Golf Classic at Oakmont Golf Club on Friday, Oct. 2. The event fetched an estimated $20,000 to benefit scholarships for local high school seniors and charities and even left participants with a little something in the bank, with prizes of up to $10,000 for hole-and-one and putting contests. The all-day event also featured a lunch and dinner, cocktails, both live- and silent-auctions and an end-of-the-night raffle.
