Saturday’s wind sent the Cornerstone snowmen flying in all directions – across the road, in the vineyards, stuck in the telephone wires. Or…was it the wind or the gigantic catapult? No one knows for sure but the fifth annual snowman lighting later in the evening came off without a hitch. The resulting fundraiser for the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation was an added bonus. Desserts by the girl & the fig, The Epicurean Connection, Maya Restaurant, Wild Thyme Catering, Peet’s Coffee & Tea, The Red Grape, El Dorado Kitchen & Sunflower Caffe helped the crowd un-wind
