Sonoma's Giant pride

A contingent of San Francisco Giants fans from Sonoma Valley Christian School staged an informal victory parade Wednesday morning.

Motorists honked and shouted, and people exited businesses and offices to shout encouragement as the group — bedecked in world champion orange and black — made its merry way down Napa Street.

The local parade coincided with the larger celebration in downtown San Francisco. “We couldn’t make it there,” said a school administrator, “so we brought some of the spirit here.”
