Replace Shakespeare’s Verona and Milan with Sonoma and Petaluma, and cast General Vallejo and Captain John Sutter in key parts, and what do you have? “Two Gentlemen of Sonoma,” a clever adaptation of the Bard’s first comedy restaged in pre-1840’s Northern California.
