Singular sensation

“A Chorus Line,” one of Broadway’s all-time mega hits, is the 1975 musical about dancers auditioning for spots in a Broadway show. Produced here by Abbey Lee, herself a young, ambitious talent, the show is a blunt, backstage view of life among aspiring performers.

Cat Austin directs the cast of 19 main characters in a three-weekend run beginning with shows Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., Aug. 24-25, and Sunday at 3 p.m. Andrews Hall. $15-$24. Sonomacommunitycenter.org.
