Sonoma’s first two electric vehicle charging stations are now available for use at public parking lot at 152 East Napa St.
The charging units are “swipe” activated and accept Charge Point cards and most credit cards. The cost of fully charging an electric vehicle is about $3, depending on vehicle battery capacity.
Through a county-wide partnership, 17 charging stations are planned for 12 locations throughout Sonoma County. The stations come at no cost to the City, as its local match consisted of providing a site for the two charging stations.
