A 90-year-old Kenwood man is safely home after disappearing Wednesday afternoon.
Lewis Sprague drove to the Sonoma Airport to fly his model airplane, then went to Round Table Pizza in Sonoma with his friends for lunch, police reported When he left he stated he was going to a hobby store in Rohnert Park or Petaluma to look at other model airplanes.
When he did not return an was unreachable by cell phone, his family called the police. Officers contacted the hobby stores but Sprague had not been seen.
Sprague returned safely at about 9 p.m.
