Summer is still here but it’s not too early to get ready for the 4th annual Fabulous Holiday Follies. The Sonoma Community Center will once again launch the holiday season with a light-hearted evening of campy, glitzy, inspirational and humorous holiday entertainment showcasing the talents of performing artists of Sonoma.
Attention all tap dancers, jugglers, magicians and acrobats, here is your chance to strut your stuff in the spotlight; put on your best-sequined outfit and serve up your own style of holiday “ham”. All acts of daring and deception, magic and mischief, beauty and brawn will be considered. No act is considered too ridiculous or astounding.
Performances can be funny or inspirational, a little naughty or very nice, limited to no longer than 5 min in length and must somehow relate to the holiday season (Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza, Winter solstice, over indulgence, commercialism etc.) Costumes are encouraged.
The deadline to apply is 5 p.m., September 19, 2014. Auditions will be held the week of September 26th. The performance will be held Saturday Dec. 6 at 7:00. For further information, contact Margaret Hatcher, SCC Special Projects Manager at: margaret@sonomacommunitycenter.org.
