Sonoma City Council results

Gary Edwards, Madolyn Agrimonti and Rachel Hundley emerged from a field of eight candidates Tuesday to win seats on the Sonoma City Council. Ken Brown, the only incumbent on the ballot, finished fourth, ending a 16-year run as a councilmember.

Edwards, a member of the Sonoma Planning Commission, received the most votes. “I’m looking forward to continuing to serve our community,” he told The Sun Wednesday morning.

The three will join Laurie Gallian, now the senior member of the panel in terms of service, and David Cook. The council could be sworn in as soon as December 1, pending election certification.
