Over 12,000 of our neighbors in nearby Lake County have been evacuated due to the devastating Rocky Fire. Many were forced to leave their homes with little in way of clothing, toiletries and other basic necessities.
Lake County is one of the most socioeconomically disadvantaged counties in the state and these folks need our help.
A handful of Sonoma Valley residents have been facilitating the donation of clothing and food from Sonoma Valley community members. Donations included four huge boxes of fresh produce from Paul’s Produce. These items are now en route to evacuation centers and food banks in Lake County.

Howdy Friends. What a great idea. I was looking for a way to help. I will be away this weekend, but will start by looking around the house for things on the list. I presume the need will be around for awhile. Is there a priority amongst the items? Is there a donation location for the Napa area? Do you need help with transportation? I have a truck that gets pretty good gas mileage.
