Speedway Children’s Charities accepting grant applications

This week Sonoma Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC) announced that grant applications for non-profits that support Sonoma County youth in need are due September 28.
Each year, SCC gives away thousands of dollars of grants to worthy causes that support children in our county, specifically around the areas of health and nutrition, basic family services (safety, shelter, etc.) and leadership (mentoring, gang prevention, etc).
Past Sonoma Valley awardee’s include La Luz Center, Teen Services Sonoma, Boys & Girls Club, Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance and SAY-WillMar Center.
