Sonoma Valley social: Wine Country Weekend

Another Labor Day weekend means another Sonoma Wine Country Weekend. Here’s some highlights via social media of Sonoma Valley’s participation in the events, which raised over $4.5 million for Sonoma County non-profits.

Thursday night: Big Bottle Party at Atwood Ranch

Julie Atwood opened her Glen Ellen barn to hundreds of Sonoma Wine Country Weekend attendees. The Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance Resort provided the food and various wineries contributed the beverages.

Friday night: Sonoma Starlight

Guests visited Francis Ford Coppola Winery in Geyserville, where they sampled various wineries offerings, which were layed out by varietal, and food catered by the girl & the fig. Dancing was also had, to the cover band Notorious.

Saturday: Taste of Sonoma

Thousands gathered under the trees of MacMurray Ranch, in Healdsburg, for the Taste of Sonoma. Chefs, winemakers, breweries and artisans shared their crafts with guests from around the world.

Sunday afternoon: Sonoma Harvest Wine Auction Over 600 guests attended the third most lucrative wine auction in the United States at Chateau St. Jean. The event was a record breaker!
