The giant outdoor stage and concert grounds are nearly complete for the 2015 Sonoma Music Festival, October 2-4, at the Field of Dreams in downtown Sonoma.
Appearing at the successor to the B.R. Cohn Fall Music Festival, formerly held at the Glen Ellen winery, are: Chicago and America on Friday evening; Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band, with Pablo Cruise, on Saturday evening; and the Doobie Brothers with Michael McDonald, plus Gregg Allman, the Edgar Winter Band, Tommy Castro and others Sunday afternoon.
“This is a very impressive 3-day line-up” said Bruce Cohn. “Not only do we get to finally present a Beatle, but all of these great acts are a perfect fit for Sonoma and wine country. Come up to stay, shop and enjoy this great music filled fundraising weekend.”
Tickets and information are available at www.sonomamusicfestival.com or tel:+1-888-810-2063.
This year’s beneficiaries include national and local veterans organizations including Fisher House and American Legion Post 489, the Redwood Food Bank, Bread and Roses and others to be announced.
