Uh oh SpaghettiOs: national recall due to red plastic bits

Campbell Soup Company has issued a voluntary recall for SpaghettiOs Original (the famed “pasta in tomato and cheese sauce” not the one with “meatballs”) due to a “potential choking hazard” due to red plastic found in a small number of cans.

The 14.2 ounce of SpaghettiOs has a use date by February 22 2017 (stamped on the bottom of the can) and a UPC code of 51000 22432 located under the bar code on the label.

To participate in the recall, simply return your SpaghettiOs Original to the store where it was purchased. Again, it has to meet the guidelines in the previous paragraph (355,000 cans have been affected in the US).

Campbell is posting updates on the SpaghettiOs Facebook page.
