City of Sonoma providing free sandbags to residents

El Nino is in full force now and the City of Sonoma is offering free sandbags to residents who live within the city limits.
Residents can pick up empty sandbags at the city hall between 8AM-Noon and 1PM-5PM Monday through Friday. Each address can receive up to 10 bags.
You can also buy sandbags at Friedmans.
To fill the sandbags, stop by Depot Park. Bring your own shovel. The sand is stored outdoors, so it could make your sandbags super heavy, so take care while filling and lifting.
