Weekend Warriors: Super Bowl edition

It’s Super Bowl time! Even if you don’t care about football, you’ll most likely be watching. Here’s my top picks on where to grab grub to take home with or watch the game.

Wine & Swine Super Bowl 50 party at Victor Hill is guaranteed to be a good time. Guests will be treated to the game on a 70″ screen in the heart of Victor Hill Wines’ Cellar, located on the outskirts of Sonoma, with a whole roasted pig from the World Famous Hamburger Ranch and BBQ.

Finger foods and snacks will be served, and of course wine – a free glass of Victor Hill Wine (tip: killer Pinot Noir) will be served for each guest with a take home glass. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be served and designated drivers are encouraged to attend! 2:30PM-7:30PM, $40 each, RSVP at superbowl@victorhillwines.com  or visit victorhillwines.com.

Drink local at Sonoma Springs Brewing Co. and watch the game on one of the many TV’s they have at their brewery. Food will be available for purchase and you can also order food at the Divewalk Cafe next door and have it delivered to you at the brewery.

Attendance is free, just bring your billfold to buy beer and food. 1PM-7PM | 19449 Riverside Dr., Ste 101, Sonoma | 938-7422 | sonomaspringsbrewing.com

Let Glen Ellen Star deliver your Super Bowl feast so you don’t have to worry about feeding hungry football fans.

For $45 per person, Glen Ellen Star will deliver you a Super Bowl feast straight from their kitchen. The star of the show is their suckling pig, which will be pulled and served with all the fixings for tortillas: grilled pineapple, avocado, shaved radish, shredded cabbage, picked jalapenos, salsa, cilantro crema and of course hand made masa tortillas.

You can also pick up for $40 per person. Email reservations@glenellenstar.com to reserve your meal. glenellenstar.com
