Wine time: ’15 Balletto Rosé of Pinot Noir

It’s that time of the year for #RoseAllDay and Balletto makes one of the most popular rosé wines on the market.
The wine is made from 75% whole clusters of estate grown Pinot Noir grapes with 24 hours of saignée, lending to the bold salmon color.
The nose is full of strawberry, cranberry and pie crust and the strawberry lingers slightly, alongside wet stone, into the mouth. It’s a dry rosé and can easily become a summer time patio pounder, pairing perfectly with shrimp cocktail and oysters. It retails for $18. Cheers. ballettovineyards.com
