Sonoma Springs releases new summer beer
Sonoma Springs Brewing Co. has released a new beer to celebrate the dog days of summer: Subtropical Gold.
The beer is an IPA and has been described as having “tropical characteristics.”
The tasting notes are for beer aficionados: “You will find papaya and pineapple flavors mingling with the malted barley backbone of the beer, as well as Alphonso mango notes on the finish! The beer is double dry hopped and has a sultry, smooth mouth-feel with a bit of spice from the Zealand hops including Waimea and Wakatu varieties.”
For the rest of us, it’s a fruity, fun, tropical IPA that will make you wish you were kicking your heels up in a hammock on the island of your choice.
Subtropical Gold is limited edition and will disappear into the sunset by the end of the month.
