Chateau St. Jean celebrates Cinq Cépages release 10/1

Chateau St. Jean will host a celebration of their Bordeaux red blend, Cinq Cépages, on Saturday, October 1.

The event will feature the unveiling of their 2013 Cinq Cépages with a special tasting led by winemaker Margo Van Staaveren.

Food pairings and a reception will follow the guided tasting.

Cinq Cépages is a Bordeaux lover’s California wine – the name translates to “Five Varieties” and historically comprises a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. The 2012 vintage was awarded 90 points from Wine Spectator.
