Sonoma Valley Hospital host an intensive one-week “boot camp” of its popular Wellness University course next month, with sessions from 8 to 10:30 a.m. July 17-21.
Wellness University is a college-level course based on a curriculum developed for those interested in improving or maintaining good health, serving as a role model for healthy behaviors, and teaching wellness. Students completing the program graduate as Wellness Ambassadors.
Among the topics covered: assessing your current state of emotional and physical health; finding balance in your life; stress reduction and relaxation techniques; importance of making positive choices; value of exercise and good nutrition; recommended breathing practices; and how to inspire others to better health.
Wellness University instructors include Kelly Mather, CEO; Leslie Lovejoy, Chief Quality Officer; and Steven Lewis, Wellness Coordinator.
