Contact with a Covid-positive person? There’s a text for that

Californians can now voluntarily opt-in to receive a text notification telling them if they have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 at CA Notify.

The digital tool does not collect device location to detect exposure and does not share a user’s identity.
