Olympian Nikita Ducarroz placed third in the Women’s BMX Freestyle yesterday in Tokyo, winning the bronze medal. The Glen Ellen woman, who is riding for her father’s country, Switzerland, commented, “We made history today. So many years of work put in for this moment, not even knowing this moment would ever come. I feel so lucky to be able to show BMX to the world, and to do it with this amazing group of ladies.”
