The Sonoma Ecology Center with Bill Meyers & Dave Chalk is bringing back the popular Headwaters to Headwaters Hike at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. The 11-mile trek — or a 17-mile version — will hit the trail on May 21.

Tickets for this premier hiking event in the North Bay are $80 and include a ticket, bus ride, and BBQ dinner at the end of the day. This is a unique opportunity to hike from Hood Mountain Regional Park to Sugarloaf Ridge State Park via the historic McCormick Ranch section of Sugarloaf (currently closed to the public), then through the Perry Property, open just for his one day for participating hikers.

This year, in addition to the familiar 11-mile Headwaters to Headwaters hike, an “Epic Route” is offered for experienced hikers that want to skip the bus and hike the entire 17 miles.
